Made in the same SKF factory that supplies Airbus

According to SKF, these PMA parts are produced at SKF (UK) Ltd., the same facility that manufactures the corresponding parts for Airbus Helicopters – in most cases SKF is Airbus' sole supplier. SKF reverse-engineered its own OEM product, so the self-lubricating liner system and coatings that determine wear performance are identical on PMA and OEM articles.

The FAA PMA is held by SKF Aeroengine, Falconer, NY, which performs additional quality inspections and ships every part with an FAA Form 8130-3 signed by an FAA-delegated quality representative. (EASA Form 1 for these parts can only be issued by Airbus as type certificate holder.)
