Blackbird Aviation was founded in 2024, but aviation has been our family's work for a generation. Our founder, Marcus Graciotti, is the son of an aircraft mechanic and the youngest of four brothers who all became pilots.

Marcus has been flying professionally since 2001 and holds Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) licenses for both airplanes and helicopters, issued by the FAA (USA) and ANAC (Brazil). Besides the aircraft in the timeline below, he has flown the Robinson R22 and R44, H135, AS365, H145 and EC155 helicopters, and Cessna singles, the Piper Seneca and the King Air on the fixed-wing side.

Ferry flights: from the Bell factory to Brazil

Since 2023 Marcus has flown new helicopters and aircraft from the factory to their operators in Brazil – more than a dozen deliveries, including Bell 429s from Bell's plants in Mirabel, Québec and Piney Flats, Tennessee. A typical US-to-Brazil ferry takes about 50 flight hours, 22 landings and seven days: it starts in the hangar with factory acceptance and ends thousands of miles south, after snow in Canada, the islands of the Caribbean and the rainforest of South America.

Those years in the cockpit taught him two things that define how Blackbird works. First, a part is only as good as its paperwork: as a pilot, he has trusted his own life to the traceability of every component on the aircraft he flew. Second, an aircraft on the ground helps no one: he knows what an AOG means for an operator, a crew and the people waiting to fly.

That is why every part we sell is traced to its source certificate, every lot is documented, and nothing leaves our hands that we wouldn't install on an aircraft our own family flies – and why we work to get the right part, with the right documents, to our customers as fast as possible. From rotor bearings for the H125 and Bell 407 to parts for Cessna, Piper, King Air and business jets, our catalog grows out of the aircraft we know from the cockpit.

Stock in two locations

  • Margate, Florida – United States
  • Cotia, São Paulo – Brazil

Each product page shows where the part ships from and how many units are available. Prices are EXW (Ex Works, Incoterms® 2020) at the shipping location, and freight is quoted on request.

How we handle every part

  • Manufacturer's release with every part – FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1 or the manufacturer's certificate of conformity, exactly as received from the source. Never altered, annotated or re-issued.
  • Lot traceability on every shipment – every order also ships with a Blackbird Certificate of Conformance and lot-split record linking your part to its source certificate, the receipt it arrived under and every quantity released from that lot.
  • Identified and stored under control – each part is labeled with its part number, lot and certificate reference and kept at a tracked bin location.
  • Records on file – receipt and lot-split records are retained and available for review on request.

What we do

  • Parts in stock – hardware, seals and bearings, rotor and transmission, engine, electrical and avionics, landing gear, consumables.
  • FAA-PMA alternatives – for many OEM part numbers we also offer FAA-approved PMA parts, with the FAA approval record on the product page.
  • Sourcing for hard-to-find parts – through a network of trusted suppliers we locate components with limited availability, including urgent AOG needs.
  • Brazil supply – we support aviation maintenance in Brazil, including import of parts for workshops and operators.
