OEM or FAA-PMA?
An FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) allows a manufacturer to produce a replacement part for a type-certificated aircraft. According to SKF, its B60-90 PMA bearings are made in the same SKF (UK) factory that produces the corresponding Airbus parts and ship with an FAA Form 8130-3. Parker LORD's 704A33-633-211LORD uses its SPE IIA elastomer and, according to Parker LORD, carries a 5-year / 3,200-hour warranty. Acceptance of FAA-PMA parts outside the United States depends on the bilateral agreement with the FAA and on your approved maintenance data – confirm with your CAMO or authority before installation.
