Choosing the right battery

Battery eligibility depends on the aircraft model, serial number and installed modifications. Check the Airbus Helicopters IPC (ATA 24 – Electrical Power) and your approved maintenance data, or send us your aircraft registration and we will confirm the P/N. Nickel-cadmium batteries such as the Saft 151CH1 require periodic shop maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions; sealed lead-acid batteries such as the Gill 7638-44 are maintained according to Gill (Teledyne) data.
