The RG-380E/40K is a Concorde RG Series / Platinum Series aircraft battery, a VRLA / AGM — Valve Regulated Lead Acid with Absorbed Glass Mat type, designed for turbine engine starting and emergency power applications in approved aircraft. The RG-380E/40 series is specified by Concorde as a 24V / 38Ah battery.

The RG-380E/40K version features a fire-resistant aluminum container with vent louvers, unlike the RG-380E/40L version, which has vent tubes and a mounting pad for temperature sensor.
