AeroShell Turbine Oil 560 is a third-generation 5 cSt synthetic hindered ester turbine engine oil manufactured by Shell Aviation. It is formulated to provide exceptional thermal stability, reduced coke formation, excellent oxidation resistance, and enhanced wear protection for modern gas turbine engines and auxiliary power units (APUs). The lubricant is fully compatible with approved turbine oils meeting the same specifications and has no adverse effect on elastomer seals. It is approved as a High Thermal Stability (HTS) oil under MIL-PRF-23699 and as a Standard Performance Capability (SPC) oil under SAE AS5780.
