LORD® Shear Bearing for Bell 407

OEM Bell P/N 407-310-101-105 | LORD P/N LB9-1232-6-1

The LORD® LB9-1232-6-1 Shear Bearing is an OEM elastomeric main rotor hub component engineered specifically for the Bell 407 helicopter. Manufactured by Parker LORD, this bearing is designed to absorb dynamic shear loads while allowing controlled rotor blade movement, significantly reducing vibration, improving ride quality, and extending the service life of the rotor system.

Built using Parker LORD's advanced SPE IIA elastomer technology, the LB9-1232-6-1 provides enhanced fatigue resistance, increased durability, and longer operational life compared to previous-generation bearings. It is a direct replacement for Bell Helicopter OEM Part Number 407-310-101-105 and is fully compatible with Bell 407 main rotor hub assemblies. Parker identifies the LB9-1232-6-1 as the OEM shear bearing for the Bell 407 platform.

About LORD (Parker LORD)

LORD Corporation was founded in 1924 in Erie, Pennsylvania, building on Hugh C. Lord's work bonding rubber to metal to control shock, noise and vibration. LORD supplied aircraft engine mounts from the 1940s and developed elastomeric bearings for helicopters in the 1960s, becoming one of the most recognized names in rotorcraft elastomerics – including bearings used on Bell and Airbus Helicopters rotor systems.

In October 2019 LORD was acquired by Parker Hannifin (NYSE: PH), a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. Today its aerospace products are sold as Parker LORD, with the same LORD part numbers and engineering heritage.
