MS21042-3 All-Metal Self-Locking Nut
The MS21042-3 is an all-metal self-locking aircraft nut, also known as a Stop Nut or Extended Washer Nut. It is used in aircraft fastening applications where mechanical locking is required without nylon inserts.
The MS21042 family is designed for high-temperature applications, with typical operating temperatures up to 450°F, and features steel construction with cadmium plating. The MS21042 specification has been superseded by NASM21042, so equivalency should be validated according to applicable documentation.
Manufacturer's release with every part. FAA Form 8130-3, EASA Form 1 or the manufacturer's certificate of conformity, exactly as received from the source. Never altered or re-issued.
