MS20995C32 Safety Wire / Lock Wire
The MS20995C32 is an aircraft safety wire, also known as safety wire or lock wire, used for mechanical locking of bolts, nuts, plugs, connections, and other components subject to vibration.
This part number features a nominal diameter of 0.032" and is manufactured from stainless steel / corrosion resistant steel, making it one of the most common gauges in aircraft maintenance. Manufacturer and distributor sources indicate the material as stainless steel 302/304 per ASTM A580, with application for aircraft lockwire/safety wire.
