4596 Aircraft Landing Light Lamp
The 4596 is a sealed beam PAR36 aeronautical lamp, primarily used as a landing light and, in some installations, can also be applied as a taxi light, depending on aircraft configuration. The item is widely listed as GE 4596 / GE-4596, with specification 28V, 250W, base with screw terminals, and application in aircraft lighting systems.
It is a high-intensity lamp for night operation or low-visibility conditions, installed in aircraft that use 28-volt PAR36 lamps. The exact application should be confirmed by the IPC, AMM, or aircraft electrical manual.
