068-04100 Cleveland Shim-Insulator
The 068-04100 is a brake shim-insulator / thermal isolator used in Cleveland Wheels & Brakes / Parker Hannifin brake assemblies. This component is installed between brake assembly parts to provide thermal insulation and protection against excessive heat transfer generated during braking operations.
The PN 068-04100 appears in the Cleveland 30-146 brake assembly as a SHIM, with a quantity of 1 per assembly, according to the Parker/Cleveland parts manual. This same PN is also commercially listed as part of assemblies 30-146, 30-146A, and 30-220.
