AGF2-6 Champion Turbine Igniter / Glow Plug
The AGF2-6 is an igniter / glow plug for Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turbine engine, manufactured by Champion Aerospace. It is used in the engine ignition system during startup, providing the spark/heat necessary to initiate combustion of the air-fuel mixture. Champion's AV-22 catalog lists the AGF2-6 as a glow plug for specific PT6A engines and provides the OEM PN 3014054.
This item is primarily associated with PT6A-6, PT6A-11, PT6A-20, PT6A-21, PT6A-27, PT6A-28, PT6A-34, PT6A-34B, PT6A-36, and PT6A-110 engines, among other models listed by Champion. Final application must be validated by the aircraft IPC, Pratt & Whitney Canada engine manual, or applicable FAA/PMA/OEM documentation.
